ISMIC LLC Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 18, 2026

ISMIC LLC (“ISMIC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ISuedMyInsuranceCompany.com.
This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect through the website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the circumstances in which it may be disclosed.

ISMIC is a California limited liability company

Information You Choose to Provide

You can read ISMIC without providing your name, email address, or information about your insurance claim.
The website may allow you to provide limited information through forms, including the following.

Chapter Feedback, Help Make ISMIC Better, and Topic Suggestions

You may provide feedback about ISMIC or suggest a subject you would like ISMIC to address in a future article. You may also provide your email address where the form permits it.

We use this information to consider your feedback, improve ISMIC, consider potential topics, and, if appropriate, communicate with you about your submission.

Law Firm Comparison

ISMIC may offer a feature for readers who are considering particular law firms and would like ISMIC's help evaluating those choices.

The form is deliberately limited. It asks whether your house is still standing; the type of claim involved, such as repair, rebuild, or remediation; the type of fee arrangement you are considering; potential claims that may be involved; the law firms you are considering; and your email address so ISMIC can respond. If you select “Other” under potential claims, the form allows you to identify that potential claim.

The form does not provide a place to submit a narrative about your insurance claim or potential lawsuit, and it does not permit document uploads. Please do not attempt to send ISMIC additional information about your claim through this feature.

ISMIC uses the information submitted through this form to consider the law firms identified by the user and respond directly to the user.

ISMIC does not provide the user's answers, identity, email address, or other information submitted through this form to the law firms being considered. It is up to the user to decide whether to contact a law firm and, if so, to contact that firm directly.

ISMIC does not currently receive referral fees or other compensation based on whether a user hires a law firm identified or discussed through this feature.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit ISMIC, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the services used to operate and measure the website. This may include information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate geographic location, and the date and time of a visit.

ISMIC uses Google Analytics 4 (“Google Analytics”) to understand generally how visitors use the website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about website visits and usage. Google may process information collected through Google Analytics in accordance with its own privacy policies and terms.

ISMIC also uses Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. Google Tag Manager does not itself determine what information ISMIC collects; it provides a means of managing technologies used on the website.

ISMIC does not currently use advertising trackers, heat maps, session-recording tools, Microsoft Clarity, or similar behavioral-tracking technologies.

How We Use Information

ISMIC uses information collected through the website for limited purposes, including:

ISMIC does not use the Law Firm Comparison feature to send a user's information to law firms or generate leads for law firms.

ISMIC does not currently sell personal information.

Service Providers

ISMIC uses third-party service providers to operate and measure the website. Those providers may process information on ISMIC's behalf as necessary to provide their services.

The website is built and hosted using Webflow. Information submitted through ISMIC's website forms is processed and stored by Webflow on ISMIC's behalf.

ISMIC uses Google Analytics to measure website use and Google Tag Manager to manage website tags.

ISMIC does not currently use third-party chat, social-media, mapping, CAPTCHA, advertising-tracking, heat-map, or session-recording services.

ISMIC does not authorize its service providers to use information submitted through ISMIC's forms for their own marketing purposes.

Form Submissions and Storage

When you submit information through an ISMIC website form, the submission is processed through Webflow. Webflow stores a copy of the submission in the site's Webflow account and sends the submitted information to the email address designated by ISMIC for that form.

Chapter Feedback, Help Make ISMIC Better, and Topic Suggestion submissions are sent to Suggestions@ISMICLLC.com.

Law Firm Comparison submissions are sent to LawyerHelp@ISMICLLC.com.

ISMIC does not send Law Firm Comparison submissions to the law firms identified in the form.

ISMIC limits access to information submitted through the website to people who need access for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to service providers that process the information in connection with operating the website.

Retention

ISMIC retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, recordkeeping, security, or legal purposes.

Information stored through Webflow forms may be deleted from the Webflow account when it is no longer reasonably needed.

Cookies and Online Tracking

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure use of the website.

These technologies can help ISMIC understand matters such as how visitors find and use the website, which pages are visited, and the general performance of the site.

ISMIC uses Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. ISMIC does not currently use the website for advertising or cross-site behavioral advertising and does not currently use advertising trackers, heat maps, or session-recording tools.

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, ISMIC does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

If ISMIC materially changes its use of cookies, analytics, or other tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes.

We may need sufficient information to identify the information associated with your request.

Security

ISMIC uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information under its control. The production website and its forms use encrypted HTTPS connections.

No method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

ISMIC is intended for adults dealing with homeowners insurance and related decisions.

It is not directed to children under 13, and ISMIC does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted personal information to ISMIC, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
